Successful Study Visit of the Azerbaijani Delegation to the Croatian Tax Administration

From 10 to 12 November 2025, the Central Office of the Croatian Tax Administration hosted a study visit of a seven-member delegation from the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The visit was marked by open dialogue, constructive discussions, and the strengthening of professional cooperation between the two institutions. In his opening remarks, Mr. Kamran Safarliyev, Deputy Head of the Main Department of National Revenues of the Republic of Azerbaijan, expressed his satisfaction with the ongoing collaboration and emphasized the importance of exchanging experience and best practices in advancing institutional development.

During the visit, both sides delivered presentations showcasing their respective approaches, achievements, and innovations. The Croatian Tax Administration presented its progress in tax digitalization, internal audit, supervision, and risk management, while the Azerbaijani delegation shared valuable insights into their own reforms and modernization efforts.

The exchange of knowledge and ideas proved to be highly productive and inspiring, further deepening mutual understanding and trust. The visit reaffirmed the commitment of both institutions to continued cooperation and professional dialogue, with the shared goal of strengthening tax administration systems and promoting excellence in public service.
